My Blogging Experience

Hello! I am very very stressed with the end of this semester, with a lot of things to do and work to deliver. Anyway I know that I will be able to fulfill all my duties and have a good holiday.

In terms of the experience of writing a blog, I think this was a very good experience because I could exercise my writing in English and the topics that I could comment on the various blogs were very relevant to me about my interests, tastes and my career.

I enjoyed writing the blog because I love writing, but sometimes was difficult to write for me every monday on any topic, and branches of my career I also demanded a lot of work. Moreover, usually for tuesday had many jobs to do and I was difficult to attend classes monday, which influenced the quality of my blogs.

I think writing the blog helped me to improve my English because I was under obligation to apply grammatical forms and above all to have to think about my ideas in English. I think this is the most important thing for me, because I've always been very bad things to write in English and when it was trying to faithfully translate what I thought in Spanish to English.

Finally, it was not very helpful for English classes that we only writing in monday on the blog, because at least I was just going to English class. I think in that regard would have been better to make the virtual classroom or do other activities.

Anyway, I think this course was much more productive than the previous one.

My ideal Job

Hello! I am very stressed for the end of the semester, but it is just for the holidays and I encouraged! However this semester was very interesting and the work I did was very rewarding.

Thanks for the work I did, I realized that I love to do classes and teach to children, and I believe that I spend much of my life to this, because it is geared for this and I think that despite the bad, I can change some things.
Ideally I would like to work outside of Santiago in an almost rural sector in a municipal school, because I believe in a school so my enthusiasm and my skills are better utilized.

I think that in the municipal schools are required to have dedicated teachers who are willing to work together in creating awareness with the children for education in these facilities is increasingly.

But rather than classes, I would like to work in a place where you can perform work integral to the community where I can make my knowledge and also learn from people in the community. I would be able to carry out projects with the community.

And when I feel I don’t have much patience with the kids, I think I will devote to a hobby that is as a profession: the barbershop.

My favourite subject: Music!!

My favourite subject in this semester is Music.
I love this subjectc, because I enjoy a lot in it. Also, I like so much the artistic subjects, because I believe I have many skills and artistic plastic that I used to teach children the traditional subjects in a more didactic way.

Also, it is not only sang, we also perform musical creations, learn to breathe and it serves me to relax.

I think this subject is so important for me, because I used to develop my skills in other aspects not only theoretical and then apply them in my classes with the children.

This semester I learned to breathe and project my voice better not to speak either using my throat, and to avoid difonia, because tomorrow my main working tool will be my voice and it is important to start caring now.

The teacher is very understanding with us, and although not all are on the same level of learning, we had good grades. In general this course is waiting for us with great pleasure, proving to be very entertaining and enjoyable.

My Ideal Future

In the future I would like to develop many projects. In fact, I have many plans for me which I hope to achieve.

In five years I hope I am working in a municipal school, because I think that in this schools I will be more required. Also, I think I have the vocation to develop in this area and try to improve the education of our country.

Also, I would like to be doing some research or a project that relates to education are adequate, or do as an educator to specialize magister in this country or abroad.

Personally, I would like to be living in Valparaiso, because I love that city, its buildings, etc. And I wouldn’t like to live forever in Santiago.

But in Valparaiso I wouldn’t live alone ... I hope by then living with my current boyfriend who lives in that city at present. And perhaps having a child, which would be a blessing. I would like so much form a family.

The best in my area

I think there are a lot of best teachers in the world who I admired, and is so difficult for me choose only one. However, when I started to study my career, I knew and read about a famous german teacher, whose name is Friedrich Fröbel.

He minted the term “kindergarten”, to focus on encouraging the natural development of smaller through the activity and play. For this, training materials developed specifically for children and cared for the training of mothers, convinced of the importance of development in these subjects. The child is considered the main protagonist of his own education.

Fröbel founded a garden where it was intended that the child:
- Play outdoors in permanent contact with nature
- Reject any form of coercion and authoritarianism on the part of the educator
- Find an education between the school and family

For this, I think Fröbel represents the general principles which should be education. Also, at the time who lived and conducted their approaches (eighteenth century) was a visionary as it should be education today.

My carrer: Initial Education

I am studing initial education in the University of Chile. This carrer covers from nursery until third of primary school.

I’m very happy to study this, because I think I can do something to improve the education in Chile. Also, I love working with children, because they are too creatives and lovely.

Often, the teachers don’t know how important is your carrer, and the people think to be a teacher is something easy. However, to be a teacher is dificult, but is a work too rewarding, because when the children learn something significantly, we understand that a few of the work is completed.

I think my formation like a teacher allows me build my own tools, but undoubtedly we need the help of the children’s family, because the most of learning occur in the home.

Finally, my favourite subject is Maths, because I had too bad experiences in my childhood with this subject, and now I’m learning how to teach them to the children didactics and significantly.

My favourite photograph

I love this photograph, because It bring me a lot of good regards.

It was taken for my uncle when we visit “La Serena” with my family, in the summer of 2006. This day was very sunny and warm, and I remember that while we taken some photos, my mom was bought in a craft fair.

In this picture I appear with my boyfriend Francisco in the beach “El Faro” when we carried six month of relation. It was a precious time and ever alter we are so happy.

I remember too that we was around a month in La Serena. I visited a lot of beautiful places: The Recova, Japanese Garden, etc, in company of Francisco.

The place in the photograph was very quiet and beautiful, and in the same place is located the lighthouse of “La Serena”.

I like too much this picture because when I see it I remember how lucky I am to share my life with my boyfriend.

My favourite website of my career

The website I used to visit is http://amanuta.cl/. This website is very useful for me, because it contains stories and activities for children, which I use to plan a class or another activity with a group of children. I often used this page to work.

I knew this page in a course of children’s literature, because we had to investigate about some editorials for children, and one of the editorials investigated was Amanuta.

I like this page for a lot of reasons, but the most important is that this page recover with their stories the legends of the indigenous people of Chile, and that I considered is very necessary for the children knows the past and traditions. Some of their stories are “The Condor and the Pastor”, and “The son of Canelo” among others.

Moreover, this page is very friendly with teachers and children too. It has games and illustrations, and the stories are related with animations.

My favourite piece of technology

I think the technology is the most important invention to mankind, because it makes things easy and simplifies the life.

I really love the technology and my favourite piece of tecnology is my MP3, because it is very useful to me. I don’t kow what I do without it!

MP3 is an element that I use to take my information and the songs I like to listen, to my computer to anywhere I stay. Also, I can record classes and then listen to them with my phones.

My favourite use of my MP3 is listening to music everyday on the bus when I go to the university. I don’t like listening to the noise of the cars and trucks.

On the other hand, people on the bus look bored, but when I'm listening to music or radio I am very amused. I think the people should listen to music too.

something to say

I would like to say a lot of things, but I can't write anything.
I would like to describe the flower I saw this morning, the beautiful places I know, the polution of my city, but the language is like a wall
between the things I want to say and the text I want to write.

Anyway, I will try to talk about me and the things I like to do.
I love singing and writing songs. Also, I like writing stories for children
One oportunity I wrote a diferent version of "Little Red Riding Hood"
It was a very funny version with popular characters, who live in a small town

On the other hand, I like to participate in the church very much
and I have my own community whose name is "Young for Christ Alive".
There I have a lot of friends and I am very happy to share with them.
The responsability is sometimes, too big for me, but I feel empty
when I don't see them.
